Using advanced bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA), the InBody scan gives you detailed insights into your body composition from muscle mass and body fat percentage, to water levels and visceral fat.

Book your InBody scan

An InBody scan uses bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) to break down your body composition, including:
Muscle mass
Body fat percentage
Water levels
Visceral fat
Basal metabolic rate
InBody scans are generally reliable and consistent when performed under proper conditions
Results can be influenced by factors such as hydration, recent food intake, and physical activity
Age and sex may affect accuracy—for example, body fat may be slightly underestimated in adults and overestimated in children
Not designed for one-time, highly precise measurements
Highly effective for tracking changes and trends in body composition over time
To ensure accurate and consistent results, please follow these preparation steps:
Hydrate well the day before your scan
Avoid food and drink for 3–4 hours before your appointment
Refrain from exercise for 6–12 hours prior to the scan
Avoid caffeine on the day of your test
No alcohol for at least 24 hours before your scan
Remove all jewelry, socks, and pantyhose before scanning
Avoid applying lotions or creams on your hands and feet
Stand upright for at least 5 minutes before the scan
Pricing, not including tax, is $30 for MRU Recreation members and $45 for non-members.
A printed report or digital report (scan QR code on app) will be provided, which includes the following metrics:
Body fat percentage
Muscle mass
Basal metabolic rate
Segmental lean analysis
Visceral fat level
You can use the InBody results interpretation sheet to help better understand your report.
The InBody Scan provides you with the opportunity to monitor your progress over time, helping you stay focused and informed throughout your health or fitness journey. Use the InBody App to view trends, set goals, stay accountable, and easily schedule follow-up scans to keep moving forward.

Search “Body Composition”
Beside the month, you would like to do your scan, click “Enroll Now”
You will be able to see the available times on the next page, however, to reserve your timeslot, click “Enroll Now” again
Select the participant
Through ePlay you can:
