First Aid & CPR Certifications

Please note that all programs meet the Alberta OHS requirements for Intermediate first aid workplace training (CSA Standard Z1210-17).

Red Cross Intermediate (Standard) First Aid & CPR-C Certification

This is a comprehensive two-day course offering first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who need training due to work requirements, or, who desire the knowledge to respond to emergencies at home. Course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.

Certification details:

  • Initial certification includes 8 hours of self-paced online learning and 8 hours of in-person training
  • Recertification requires 8 hours of in-person instruction only
