Group Climbing Bookings

Looking for a unique, active, and memorable experience for your group? We host custom climbing sessions tailored for peer groups, schools, community groups, and organizations.

Our sessions are fully customizable to meet your group's goals, always maintaining a safe and focused 1:6 instructor-to-participant ratio led by ACMG-certified staff.

Please note: Due to the growth of our youth programs, drop-in climbing, and dedicated group bookings, we do not host birthday parties. If you are looking to book a birthday party, we highly recommend reaching out to our friends at the Calgary Climbing Centre, Westside Recreation Centre, or the City of Calgary.

We offer three distinct session types depending on your group's age, goals, and experience level: experiential, instructional, and advanced.
Experiential Sessions: Fun & active
Best for: Social outings, team building, and casual fun.
What to expect: A fully facilitated, non-instructional experience where our staff manage all the safety systems. Our team will personally belay your participants and supervise those using our auto-belay systems, leaving you free to focus on climbing and having fun.
Instructional Sessions: Learn the ropes
Best for: Groups wanting to learn the fundamentals of climbing.
What to expect: Hands-on instruction covering essential top-rope climbing skills. Participants will learn how to properly fit a harness, tie safety knots, and safely manage top-rope belay systems.
Advanced Sessions: Progressive skills
Best for: Scouting groups, outdoor clubs, or climbers looking for technical development.
What to expect: A progressive curriculum that directly aligns with and follows Scouts Canada Vertical Skills competencies.

Our pricing is straightforward and based directly on the number of staff members required to keep your group safe (maintaining our strict 1:6 staff-to-participant ratio).

Rate: $50/hour per staff member, plus a one-time $50 administration fee (note that all safety equipment and rentals are included in this price).

Every booking includes:
Professional instruction tailored specifically to your group's goals
ACMG-certified instructors prioritizing safety and technique
All required climbing gear and rentals

Participant requirements:
Footwear: Must wear clean, indoor athletic shoes
Clothing: Comfortable, athletic clothing is highly recommended
Waiver: A signed participant waiver is required. Climbers under 18 must have their waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian prior to the session
